Document and Blockchain Storage Questions
Your Metamask or other wallet is connected to app.certicos.io instead of the wallet you are trying to use. Open a new Browser and go to https://wallet.certicos.io/swapz and disconnect your existing wallet. Then go into your Metamask and choose the wallet you want to connect to app.certicos.io. Then you can go back the swapz page try to connect and it should connect to that wallet. Return to your document and it should now see the correct wallet when you try to send the document.
You need to do a one time add to a document inside the document center using invite to have them put on your auto populate approver drop down list. After that they will appear in your drop down for future documents you want to send them in the dashboard and document center.
Here are the instruction steps:
1. Go into your Invite Connections from the Dashboard and copy the desired Approvers Certicos UserId.
2. Then go into your document center or create a new document to enter the document center.
3. Click Invite on the right side bar.
3. Just to the left Select Approver will appear.
4. Click on Invite User and place their UserId in the popup field.
5. The First Name and Last Name will appear in Red. Just click on each field to accept until they are no longer red (Certicos is crawling our CRM to make sure they are still a legit member).
6. Then hit Send when they are clear.
Note: If they are already invited it will add them to the document center Approver List and your quick drop down list for future documents when creating.
Go your dashboard and click on the hamburger button (3 dots) and click on view invitation. A pop up will tell you if the Approver has seen and approved your document yet.
If you want to send a document to someone's email and they are not a Certicos Member you will need to do that inside the document center. You can skip adding someones email address when prompted after document upload.
Once you have placed your signatures go to the content menu and choose Form Fields and add Signatures. Open up that field and select ADD APPROVER.
This will prompt a window open that allows you to place either an email address or a CertID number which would choose from your invited connections.
If you know the persons CERTIID and they are not already part of your Invite Connections you may add it there. If they are not a Certicos Member you can put in their email address.
After placing their email address inside ADD APPROVER please refresh your page. After refreshing your page you should see the Approver's name (which you assigned them) under Approvers and you can select the user for both who to send the entire document and how you would like to sign it as well.
Have you ever been to a Carnival or Fair? Remember how you have to go to the ticket counter and buy tickets to go on the rides? Certicos is no different. It is the CERT token that is the engine that runs our blockchain and makes storage possible. You just need to purchase a minimum amount of tokens (10 at a time) and then go enjoy the rides! Additional features you may want within Certicos are just additional tokens.
Your documents are stored in a P2P (Peer to Peer) Decentralized Servers Location within Certicos using our IPFS (Inter Planetary File Storage System). We use a Decentralized Storage Solution system that identifies documents in an encrypted hash and not a URL address. Your documents are disassembled into multiple parts and placed on multiple file servers with a referencing hash that calls out the parts of the document with a link provided. This allows reassembly and extraction of your original file document.
The Certicos storage plan is intended to store the actual PDF format copy of your transaction. The Certicos payment is a transaction fee to create, send, and approve the document. The storage plan is an extremely economical way to keep the IPFS CID active for recalling the document. If you want to save even more, after you create your document you can download and delete from IPFS (albeit a secure environment) and limit your storage space. The transaction will still be part of and remain with your document identifier on the blockchain.
Since Certicos uses Web3; you will be required to have an external wallet if you did not sign up and get approval for an internal wallet. All you need to do is create your document and when sending to your approver; connect your Web3 APP and follow the instructions. This will require you have CERT tokens in your wallet along with BNB as a gas fee.
The CERT Token is a BEP-20 Token and was created on the BNB Smart Chain. As a result, to transfer tokens and make transactions a gas (gwei) fee is required to make the transaction. In the case of BNB it is usually between .04 - .06 USDT to cover the gas fee for any site transaction.
If you create your document in Certicos' Document Center then you can save the entire document as a result of the HTML/CSS ease of conversion. If you use your own uploaded document (i.e. a Word Document) then Certicos saves the document along with the CERT#, Creator, Approver, Authenticators (if required), Title of the Document, Transaction Cost, Date and Time Stamp. The actual image storage of the document is linked and located through the CERT# and your encrypted hash.
Yes, pretty neat huh ! The document is there for one year. After that additional storage can be purchased. The transaction record is permanent.
No, once your documents are saved along with the Blockchain transaction data they can not be edited. They can only be accessed.
Sure, as long as you have permission from both the Creator and Approver the document can be removed. The Blockchain will still reference the document but once linked it will state the time and date only the document itself will be deleted from the Certicos Decentralized Storage System.
Simple, use the copy that you have and make a new revised submittal. Our attempt is to keep storage inline with the Blockchain transaction data; we cannot replace one document with another document. A completely new document must be created (unless noted otherwise as a result of illegal activity). In keeping with the integrity of the intent of Blockchain integrity, original or earlier revision documents should stay in storage as a historical record unchanged unless removed.
If you believe there are Documents that are considered illegal or elicit in Certicos you can contact our Security Team for removal; if the documents are within community guidelines and considered not illegal and access to those documents are either made public or are private; you will need to obtain a Judge’s Order from a competent jurisdiction instructing Certicos to remove the material. You may reference the URL and CERT# of the document you are attempting to remove. Please contact our Security Team for more information. Certicos understands that the possibility exist that our service may be used for illicit or illegal storage and will respond as quickly as possible to your concerns. We can not remove the Blockchain transaction, we can only remove access to the document through our software. If the document was downloaded by the Creator or any Approvers we can not remove the copies they downloaded.
You need to have an Electronic Storage Plan otherwise you will not be able to create documents as a Creator. The Electronic Storage plans last one (1) year.
Visit our pricing page. The prices are a fraction of our legacy competitors and are in Certicos Tokens. The pricing is subject to change based on Certicos pricing when it enters exchanges.
Yes, we need to build community and that means wallets outside the Certicos platform. That means we encourage you to move your tokens off the platform and will reward movement to an outside wallet. There are instructions on how to do that on our Certicos Tokenomics page.
Certicos uses a Filebase.com's IPFS System. We can go into a peripheral explanation here. However, you would be better served to read Filebase's white paper on Google Docs.

One thing we have learned with computers and hacking. Never say never, but if the address is found the hackers still have to have access to your Certicos account to reveal the document in the viewer with the CID and Hash. That is why we place additional security with a PIN Code to not share your 48 BIt Hash. The Filebase Gateway limits intrusion as only you and your Approver have the key.
Yes, but if someone has your CID the potential exist albeit they would need your keys to see the file. The transaction remains on the Blockchain as does the Unique Document Identifier alphanumeric number. You can download the document, then delete it but the transaction file name still exist tied to the downloaded documents name in pdf format. To do a request delete you need both the Creator and Approver's permission. We recommend downloading documents first for your own personal record storage. The digital time stamp will match the blockchain record and is immutable in it's unmolested download.
No, Certicos is a Utility Token that is used on the site to purchase services.

Once inside our Certicos App we capture your IP Address for document reference. This means we ping your machine. If you have a slow browser due to alot of open apps or internet speed the Certicos guy may appear. You can close some apps or change to a faster browser. Check your internet speed on Google by typing in Internet Speed Test.
Whennthe Certicos guy appears, just hit go and you will get through. May take a few pings.
Account Information and CERTICOS' Wallet
Yes, you can move to an off platform wallet like Metamask. We have instructions on our site.
Rebate is a form of airdrop; we will offer an interest percentage of adding CERTICOS to an account based on the balance in your outside wallet. So you purchase CERTICOS on the platform, or you can purchase eventually at an exchange or IDO Launch. We will then do a rebate to your outside wallet account.
You will be able to purchase CERTICOS with, ETH, BNB, USDT and USDC in both ERC20 and BEP-20 (BNB) tethered. Certicos runs our Blockchain on the Binance Smart Chain Network so there is a lot of options for wallets available for you. You can certainly create a new wallet outside Certicos or move your tokens to an offline wallet.
That depends, contact Certicos and explain your transaction and provide the CERT# and we will look into refunding your CERTs. We can’t stop the transaction written to the Blockchain, just look at a refund of CERTICOS.
Certicos will pay the BNB Gas Fees for a limited time to move them off the platform to an outside wallet.
USDC and USDT is either tethered to BNB or ETH but the wallet address is the same. So, if you transfer either token to your account it will appear in the wallet description as USDC or USDT with it's tethered coin.
